Hi, I’m Julia Sherman, founder of Salad for President! It's my dream to help you to eat a salad at every meal.
Ten years ago, I started with a camera and a deeply unreasonable conviction that salad should be the star of the dinner table. First, I pushed my way into the kitchens of dancers, painters, sculptors, documenting their recipes, which were as beautiful as their work…especially their vegetables. Somewhere between assembling greens with artists, growing a salad garden at MoMA PS1, and cultivating 30 varieties of produce in my own yard, veggies became my love language.
I began to help home cooks eat more veggies with simple recipes, but heard that dressings were hard to make. So, I decided to fix that with my own, better-for-you dressing mixes.
