What better way to celebrate the launch of my book than to host a vegetable, and figure drawing class at one of the most beautiful bookstores in Los Angeles?

This past weekend, we spent the afternoon amongst the stacks at Arcana Books, drawing a live model as she posed with a giant daikon, a head of frisée, and her two 20 year old Schitzus. I was in conversation with KCRW’s Evan Kleiman, the host of my very favorite radio show, Good Food. For me, this was an honor of the highest form. I have been a fan of Evan’s show for years, and I have never missed an episode. Guests enjoyed a rosé and fancy gifts from Aesop, and a taste of my Mexican fruit salad, served with limes dipped in bee pollen, salt and chile.
